Sobre Cannes Fayet Corkscrew Cane
Cannes Fayet corkscrew cane — a walking stick from France with a corkscrew built into the handle. The T-handle is olive wood and the shaft is scorched maple. You lift the handle off and it becomes the grip for the corkscrew, which is a practical and rather entertaining detail.
How the built-in corkscrew works
The corkscrew sits hidden inside the handle and is made of brass. You unscrew the T-handle and then use it as the grip to draw the cork. The stick still works as a proper everyday cane in the meantime — it weighs 350 g, measures 98 cm and stands on a 19 mm ferrule. You can also cut it shorter if you need to.
A black storage bag comes with it, which also makes it straightforward to hand over as a present.
