Sobre Löwenstein Headgear for Cara Full Face Mask
Löwenstein Cara headgear – a red and grey fabric strap with hook-and-loop adjustment, an original spare part for the Löwenstein Medical Cara full face mask used in CPAP therapy for sleep apnoea.
Original fabric strap for the Cara full face mask
The strap is made specifically for the Cara model and clips onto the mask frame without tools, which makes the change straightforward even if you are not used to handling CPAP parts. The construction takes daily use and regular hand washing. The red and grey fabric spreads the pressure evenly across the crown so it does not chafe through a long night.
Benefits of the strap
- Original spare part from Löwenstein Medical
- Red and grey fabric that does not chafe over a long night
- Clips onto the mask frame without tools
- Takes daily use and regular cleaning
- Weighs 45 g
- Usable for up to 12 months
When should you replace it?
How often depends on how you use it. If you find wear, tears or discolouration, replace it straight away. A stretched strap has to be pulled tighter for the mask to seal, and then it starts to press instead. Read about obstructive sleep apnoea on HSE.ie, and see more CPAP headgear in our range.
